Bass Coast is a world class treasure known for delivering the full package: a seamless umbrella of art, music and community. Naturally, this year’s line-up is stacked and special. With a remarkable presence of homegrown talent mixed with a full spread of international artists, the Bass Coast curation is always immaculate. We’re in good hands!

With the schedule freshly released, we’re mapping out our steps and visualizing our adventures. Bass Coast, you never let us down and we cannot WAIT to be back!! On that note, here’s the Night Vision Top 10 picks of 2022 (with honourable mentions at the end... this line up is seriously bursting with goodness).

See you on the dance floor!

Anz

SLAY BAY | SATURDAY | 12:00-2:00AM

Manchester’s Anz is known for her high energy, genre-bouncing club music - the danceability is undeniable. She’ll be lighting it up at Slay Bay Saturday night, right in between Leo Pol and Ciel. We love a good marathon.

Be sure to check out her yearly ‘Dubs’ mixes, comprised of entirely original productions, 6 years deep.

AceMoma

THE CABIN | SUNDAY | 11:30PM-1:30AM

What a treat to have this Brooklyn-based dynamic duo gracing The Cabin stage Sunday night. AceMo + MoMa Ready, together as AceMo, are known for going deep, melding house, techno, acid and soul, to name a few. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Donna Dada

SLAY BAY | FRIDAY | 6:30-7:45PM

Donna Dada is an icon, period. A tastemaker and influence on varying levels of the industry, she has woven dance music/culture into her work, passions and creative curations. Influenced by her Trinidadian/Nigerian heritage and a lifelong love affair with UK dance culture, we can’t wait for Donna Dada to bring us into Friday evening at Slay Bay.

Dunmore Park

THE CABIN | FRIDAY | 2:30-4:00PM

Hey! We know that guy! Toronto-transplant Dunmore Park, aka Andrew Williams, is coming in hot Friday afternoon for a daytime dance party at The Cabin. Man of many hats (quite literally), Andrew is the co-founder of Alberta Electronic Music Conference co-founder, Night Vision Music and the Night Vision Music Academy. The crew will be out in droves for Dunmore Park’s first solo set at Bass Coast!

Galcher Lustwerk (Boiler Room)

THE CANTINA | SATURDAY | 6:30-7:45PM

Since his first appearance in Edmonton in 2015, we’ve been tracking Galcher Lustwerk down at international festivals and stalking his releases. Smooth, sexy and soulful, this set is not to be missed. If you were at the Boiler Room showcases at Bass Coast 2019, you know it’s a whole other vibe.

Jacques Greene

THE CABIN | SUNDAY | 9:00-10:00PM

In April we had our socks blown off when Jacques Greene headlined The Downtown Defrost in Edmonton. Our last attempted booking before life shut down in early 2020, we had been waiting to lock in Jaques for too long. We are so pumped to see what he brings to The Cabin Sunday night at Bass Coast - we can’t get enough of this guy!

Leo Pol

SLAY BAY | SATURDAY | 10:45PM-12:00AM

LIVE

Another one on the bucket list, we’ve been waiting patiently for Leo Pol since he was announced on the 2020 Bass Coast lineup. We’re so glad he’s booked (to bless us with a live set, nonetheless), Saturday night at Slay Bay. We’re obsessed with his whole archive and can’t wait to see the man in action!

Nikki Nair
(Boiler Room)

THE CANTINA | SUNDAY | 7:00-8:30PM

This is going to be WILD. Nikki Nair is a master of what feels like the entire landscape of dance music. His diverse productions are rich and unique across the board, and with the added element of Boiler Room realness, we simply cannot wait for this Sunday session at The Cantina.

Rochelle Jordan

MAIN STAGE | SUNDAY | 10:00-11:00PM

Toronto-based musical maven Rochelle Jordan has perfectly captured the 90s R&B vibe intertwined with vintage dance music of layered persuasions. Her productions are top notch, including collaborations with Jimmy Edgar, Machinedrum, Jacques Greene, and J-E-T-S. Main Stage will be a SHOW Sunday night, followed by none other than The Librarian and Mat The Alien!

Sam Steele

THE CANTINA | FRIDAY | 12:45-2:00PM

We have loved Sam Steele since day one. This talented Vancouver-based producer brings out the emotion with his self-described BIG GAY HOUSE and we are so very here for it. Get deep in the dance with a whole crew of beauties Friday afternoon at The Cantina! We can’t wait to get lost/found.

WE ALSO CAN’T WAIT TO SEE:

Adam 2, Anna Morgan, Ardalan, Apollo, Braue, Cherriup, Dane, Drifting.Dubs, Doza, Essete, Jake Robertz, Garneau, Jesse Bru, Kasey Riot, Lorne B, LVT, Man Keen, Max Ulis, Mother Mary, Overland, xTine, Sabota, Sam Steele, Sergio SP, Shiny Things, The Librarian, Unmarried Woman
