Safe Spaces Policies
The purpose of this document is to set out a group of moral principles and standards of behaviour that we expect from anyone attending or working at our events. Our goal as a boutique event group is to throw awesome events, foster artistic output in the community, and leave a positive stamp on our city. That being said, it is not possible to achieve these without creating a safe, harmonious space for everyone at our events. We strongly condemn any verbal, physical or sexual abuse of any kind at our events and community-wide. What follows is how we approach the question of how to create a safe space.
Event Policies - Attendees, Staff and Talent
Respect peoples’ physical and mental boundaries, including asking for consent on the dancefloor.
No harassment of any form will be tolerated. Immediate ejection and potential ban for future events may be enforced.
If someone says no or asks you to leave them alone - listen to them.
Take care of each other. If you see someone that needs help or a situation that looks questionable or uncomfortable, intervene or find a staff member to step in.
Booking & Venue Policies
We have zero tolerance for booking known abusers.
We work with venues that have a clearly stated Safe Spaces Policy and are in good reputation with the overall community.
We communicate our policies to both talent and venues when creating our events.
We communicate our policies via our website, event pages, and personally where appropriate.
Feedback Policies
We encourage attendees to speak up when they are being harassed or are witnessing it happen to someone else. We are on your side and will take action.

Complaints will be taken very seriously. We hold the right to deny entry to our events to any individual that violates this code of ethics.

A Public Space for Harm Reduction Education
We are making a public commitment to offering our music school space, the Night Vision Music Academy, available to any harm reduction organizations, free-of-charge, for any public workshops they wish to hold around creating safer music spaces, music industry harm reduction, bystander intervention training.
