Edmonton’s Annual Outdoor Winter Dance Event

The Downtown Defrost is a family-friendly winter celebration of dance music, created by Night Vision Music and Wheelhouse Productions. Launched in 2015, this annual event typically sees Winston Churchill Square transformed into a wild dance party featuring lights, decorations, and some of the city's favourite DJs alongside international talent. With Churchill Square undergoing construction in 2018, The Defrost is joining forces with Silver Skate festival to bring the parties 4th edition to Hawrelak park!

Featuring DJ sets from the Night Vision and Wheelhouse crew.

Food/Drink: There will be food and beverages available through the Silver Skate festival. There will be a licensed area for alchoholic beverages. 🍻
